Thankful to God
Yet, the greatest announcement in our life was when we first repented of our sins in response to the very One who loved us and gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20).
Do you know that to God your life has great value? The value of one's soul cannot measured. The Bible says, "For what profit is to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"(Matthew 16:26).
Just think for a moment of the joy in heaven when you turned from darkness and into His marvelous light, "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." ( Luke 15:7).
Ponder the words that give life to a life without hope that says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).
Receive by faith the words of Jesus that give rest to a weary soul, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
Let's thank the Lord for His gift of salvation each day. The message of this most blessed gift cannot be kept to oneself, but rather to be preached as often as divine opportunities arise and lived out each day by the power of the Holy Spirit.
