God is All-Knowing
Did you know that the hair on your head are all numbered by
God? (Matthew 10:30). There is not a sparrow on this earth that falls to the
ground without God’s knowledge (Matt.10:29). Indeed, God knows your deepest
thoughts (Psalm. 139:2). He knows everything you’re going to say before you say
it (Ps. 139:4). God is all-knowing
and everything He knows, He knows
perfectly [1].
God knows the sin of the world in all its ugliness. He knows our sin. Yet, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “When we confess our sin” to the all-knowing God - believing in His Son Jesus - “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
We may not know and understand everything, but God knows everything. When you trust in Jesus, this reality will comfort your heart all the days of your life and you can be certain that your life is in His hands. As for the future, there is no uncertainty with God. He knows it perfectly and He will accomplish His purpose.
